JumpRope for Heart! is an exciting event in which we raise money for the American Heart Association and develop fitness in the process.

Game Day
This day is a sports day held in May. The sixth grade students direct the games. The teachers are the coaches of multi-age teams. Staff and parents work together to top off the physical education year with excitement through games.

PE Central Challenge
The PE Central Challenge is designed for 4th and 5th grade children to encourage them to practice a variety of motor skills, many of which are contained in our professions national standards. The six tasks that form the PE Central Challenge are: Balance Shuffle, Throw and Catch, Volley Up, Jump Rope, Paddle Strike, and Hula Hoop. The students are encouraged to practice at home, at recess, and in class. The tests can be taken often. Gold, silver, and bronze pins are awarded to those who complete six, five, or four of the tasks as stated in the directions.
