I am Mrs. Betty McNeil. I am the physical education specialist at John Paul II Elementary. I teach all the students from preschool through 6th grade. I enjoy being challenged by them and by challenging them every day.
My husbands name is Jack. We have four sons who live in Western South Dakoa, Wyoming, and Colorado. We have 6 grandchildren.
I graduated from SDSU with a major in physical education. I am a member of the South Dakota Association for Health Physical Education Recreation and Dance. I am a tennis player with a 4.0 – 4.5 USTA ranking. I am the treasurer of the Mitchell Tennis Association. I attend the SD physical education convention almost every year. I have attended the National Catholic Education convention several times.
I am a fan of just about every sport, but I also like to read, write, garden, and spend time with my family and friends.
An unusual thing that I have done is walked 50 miles in two days with my sister. We walked from Mitchell to the farm where we grew up between Wessington Springs and Lane, S.D. That is probably the hardest task I’ve ever undertaken. And I would do it again.
