Dear Families,
At the heart of every Catholic school is something more important--your home. It's where the first prayers are prayed, the first lessons of love are learned, and where faith begins. Every hug, story, and gentle correction is forming your child. You are your child’s first and most important teacher and your home is the first classroom. It’s where your child learns to love God, to listen and forgive, and to live as part of a community. Parents build the foundation that shapes every lesson, prayer, act of service their children will experience at school.

The Church calls the family the Domestic Church. Domestic Church is a beautiful phrase that reminds us that faith doesn’t begin in a classroom, but around your kitchen table, during bedtime prayers, in your family pew at Mass, and in the moments of forgiveness and laughter that fill your home.
Parents hold an important role. From the very beginning, God entrusted you with the duty of forming your children’s hearts and minds. The Second Vatican Council teaches that parents are the “primary and principal educators.” Our school is here to walk beside you in this important role. Our school is an extension of what you already do at home, supporting the values you are displaying each day. To strengthen this partnership, we will be offering a book study during the second semester. Attending all sessions will earn you 4 parent volunteer hours and provide a meaningful opportunity for discussion and connection with other parents who share your commitment to raising faithful and happy children. More details will be shared soon related to the book study.
Thank you for all you do as a parent!
