The 5th graders enjoyed some authentic Turkish Delight as they took their first quiz on The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe! (If you haven’t read it, the dessert plays a big part in the story!)

This week the 5th grade spent some time in math workspace. They took turns racing against the calculator!

St. John Paul II school lunch menu for September 15th to September 19th.
We announced Faith as our Virtue of the Month last Friday, along with the accompanying saints, Saint Martha and Saint Jerome. As a faith to family connection, we will also be sharing some prompts each month to spur family discussions.
We are pumping gas and washing windows on Saturday, September 20th at Dakota Sunset in Mitchell from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. All free will donations will benefit the 2026 - 5th and 6th grade trip to Washington DC. We hope to see you there!
Our Kindergarteners are enjoying the "Spill the Beans" game. We are working on numbers 1 to 5. They are doing amazing!
Mrs. Mueller’s 1st grade celebrated Mother Mary’s birthday today! We sang to her, made birthday crowns and birthday cards, and had some cake, of course! Happy Birthday, Mother Mary!
The 5th and 6th graders wrote and published beautiful identity poems and read each others’ work in a silent gallery walk.
The Sisters of Pro Ecclesia Sancta were able to visit several of our classes and share wonderful messages of God's love. The kids love learning from them!

🎯 6:30–7:30 PM – Special activities for our middle school & high school youth.

Can you guess these Saints? The virtue of the month is Faith!
Sixth graders did a picture study on this piece of art. First, what do you see? Next, what might it mean? After discussion, they wrote individual responses.
3rd grade went to Adoration last week and wrote personal letters to God.
4th Grade is learning to make music with the bells in music class...how fun!
Kindergarten got to spend some time with their 6th grade buddies...they are already becoming best friends!
