Mr. Thury's class is busy spending the year learning about saints and the role models they can be for us. Their first saint of the year was St. Jerome who spent thirty years translating the Bible into Latin, the common language of the time. This is why he is the patron saint of librarians. We thought it was only fitting to write a little thank you note to our school librarian Mrs. Spitzenberger.

The students are having a blast at recess with the Brothers and Sisters!

Dear Parents and Families of St. John Paul II School,
I am writing to share an update regarding the safety of our school.
This past week, we welcomed a representative from the Department of Homeland Security to conduct a walk-through of our facility and the parishes. He completed a thorough assessment and provided us with several recommendations. Some of these are already in progress, and we will thoughtfully incorporate others into our safety plan moving forward.
While I won’t share every detail of these security measures publicly, please know that if you have specific questions or concerns, you are always welcome to reach out to me directly.
I am pleased to report that, overall, he affirmed that our school is doing well in ensuring a safe environment for our students.
Thank you for entrusting your children to our care. We hold their spiritual formation, academic growth, and safety as our highest priorities.
In Christ,
Mrs. Sarah Timmer
